Many delays are technical, not legal. Passport photo specifications, signature boxes, and PDF size caps are published on the forms themselves. Crop carefully so faces are centred; avoid filters. For Aadhaar and PAN uploads, prefer colour scans on a flat surface with all four corners visible. If a portal rejects a file, rename clearly (for example, address-proof.pdf) and keep an uncompressed original so you can re-export at the required size.
